UniPod Botswana delivered a two-day high-impact legal workshop from the 26–27 March 2026. The workshop was official opened by the Director of UniPod Botswana Professor Richie Moalosi who emphasised that the workshop will enable innovators to make informed decisions, mitigate risks, attract investment and build ventures that will be innovative and resilient.

The workshop covered Contracts, Intellectual Property, and Company Law, and data protection. The programme was facilitated by Ms Carol Nkane alongside esteemed legal experts Attorney Tshepiso Lediretse, and the Managing Director of Maswabi Law Firm, Attorney Maswabi Maswabi. The sessions provided practical guidance on structuring clear and enforceable agreements.

Further discussions highlighted the protection of ideas through Intellectual Property, including copyrights and trade secrets facilitated by Mr Tebogo Ketshabile from UniPod Botswana.From mastering key contract clauses to understanding compliance, data protection, and IP rights, participants were equipped with the tools to make informed, strategic decisions.
